Reflection on Wisdom 7:7-11

What is Wisdom?

Deep, intuitive awareness of the interconnectedness of all things in Divine Infinite Oneness.

Thread of breath and light through all of creation.

More precious than any earthly riches; more beautiful than gold, silver, or gems.

She is the giver of true insight, true understanding, true knowledge.

She is gift, not to be attained but given to those who are disposed to receive her with open hands and hearts and minds.

Wisdom is cultivated through connection with the Infinite.

Wisdom is the ability to see

light in the darkness

hope in despair

possibility in times of trouble

love in the midst of hatred

joy in the midst of sorrow

peace within the chaos.

Wisdom is the Presence of Divine Oneness dwelling within the human condition,

calling us all to deep listening to one another

with hearts and ears open to understanding

and a desire for oneness with the one before us

and all of our brothers and sisters, human and of all species,

who share this universe we call home.
